The highly talented, young lyric mezzo-soprano Ebba Lejonclou finished her studies at the Stockholm University of the Arts' Opera Vocal Performance programme and graduated with excellence in June 2024. Further studies at Hochschule för Musik, Leipzig.
In the spring of of 2026, Ebba returns to Folkoperan in Stockholm to perform the role of Megacle in Vivaldi's "L'Olimpiade". She sang Kutchtík in Dvorak's "Rusalka" at the Royal Swedish Opera during the fall of 2025, followed by the big Christmas tour "Vår jul" with over 50 concerts across Norway.
In the coming seasons she will again be at Folkoperan in TurboOpera as well as Vikarien.
Ebba has during and after her graduation in 2024 repeatedly appeared on opera stages like The Royal Swedish Opera, Folkoperan and The Vadstena Academy. She is also active within concert, recently as a soloist with the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra in the Stockholm Concert Hall as well as with The Norrköping Symphony Orchestra in The Louis De Geer Concert Hall.
She has performed at several national and international chamber music festivals. In May she appears as a soloist with the Östgöta Wind Symphony Orchestra in the Crusell Hall in Linköping.
Ebba's repertoire spans from classical opera to sacred music and art songs. She finds inspiration in various genres, including musicals, folk, jazz, and soul. With a passion for J. S. Bach's music, Ebba has collaborated with renowned conductors and received numerous scholarships for her outstanding talent and dedication to opera.
