Daniel Frank has over the last decade established himself as one of the leading Heldentenors of today spellbinding audiences in these demanding and dramatic roles. His operatic debut was as John Sorel in Menottis The Consul at Folkoperan in Stockholm in 2009 and before that, he had worked for ten years as a rock singer, vocal coach, music and drama teacher. 
2024/25 will see him at the Wiener Staatsoper as the Tenor/Bacchus in Ariadne auf Naxos as well as Parsifal. At Oper Leipzig he sings Tristan and there will be revivals of Parsifal, Tristan and Ring-productions as well as his house-debut at Deutsche Oper Berlin in the role of Siegmund.

 Among his successful roles are: His signature part as TannhäuserPaul Die Tote Stadt, Siegmund, Siegfried, Parsifal, TristanFlorestan and 
Tenor / Bacchus in Strauss’ Ariadne auf Naxos.

Equally active on the concert-stage Daniel sings works by Mahler, Beethoven, Bruckner as well as contemporary composers.
Daniel has won several prizes, a. o. Birgit Nilsson's scolarship 2012.
